How we collect, use, and protect your information.
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This policy explains what information Spring Valley Tree Farm LLC collects when you visit our website or make a reservation, how we use it, and who we share it with. By using this site or booking a reservation, you agree to the practices described below.
When you make a reservation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the billing address you provide at checkout, along with details of your visit (date, time, and number of trees). If you contact us through our website, we collect your name, email, and phone number as well. We also automatically note whether a reservation was made from a phone or a computer, for our own internal statistics — we don't collect any more detailed device information than that.
We do not collect or store your payment card details ourselves — see "Payment Information" below.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiration date, and security code are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form and go straight to Stripe — they never pass through or get stored on our own servers. We only retain a reference to the transaction (such as the amount paid) so we can confirm and manage your reservation.
We use your information to:
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone outside the service providers listed below.
When we send a marketing email about upcoming seasons or availability, we keep a record of which links were clicked and when, so we can see which emails are useful to customers. We do not track whether an individual email was opened. Links in these emails may route through our own server on their way to the destination so we can log this; your booking confirmation and cancellation emails are not tracked this way.
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
We share information only with the service providers that help us run this website and process reservations:
We keep reservation and customer records from past seasons so we can maintain accurate business records and recognize returning customers. If you'd like us to delete your information, contact us using the information below and we'll be glad to do so, except where we're required to keep certain records (for example, for tax or payment-related purposes).
Our reservation system is intended for use by adults booking a farm visit. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypting data sent to and from our website. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent changes.
